At SECONDed we understand how busy life is and how challenging and time consuming it can be to sell your clothes online.

You don’t want the clothes to go to waste in your wardrobe, but the whole process of listing items online with the many steps can be overwhelming and it becomes a chore that you put off - for months, or even years.

That’s where we come in. SECONDed was created to make it easier to buy and sell quality items. We do the heavy lifting for you, whilst you sit back and relax after decluttering your wardrobe.

So how does it work? Let’s go through the steps

Consignment Form

  • Go through your wardrobe and select clothes and accessories that comply with the below requirements and put them aside. Ensure you inspect all items, and that they are clean.

    When selling with SECONDed you as the consignee set the price of each item. Whilst going through your items, start to think about how much you would like to sell your item for. If you are unsure - you can research online, or ask us for assistance. Remember, something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it.

  • Open the consignment form below and read through the information prior to completing the schedule for the items you wish to sell. The information required to be entered for each item is:

    - Brand

    - Description

    - Colour

    - Size

    - Individual Price (The price you want to sell the item for)

  • Have clothes that are unsuitable to sell or donate?

    You can drop these off to us in a separate bag. This will be taken to a local charity store. They will receive a small payment for the material which will be reused as rags etc.

  • Once the consignment form is completed and signed. Send the form to seconded.preloved@outlook.com

    You will receive a response back to discuss drop off of items (Geelong West). Once drop occurs, you will be provided with a signed copy of the consignment form for your records.

Selling - FAQs

WHAT WE LOVE 

  • Items - new with tags, or lightly worn
  • In season/trending clothes and accessories
  • Good quality, well known brands

DURATION OF LISTING/AFTER

  • IteMS WILL BE LISTED FOR A PERIOD OF 4 WEEKS.
  • IF THE ITEM DOES NOT SELL DURING THIS TIME THE CONSIGNOR WILL BE CONTACTED TO REDUCE THE PRICE OF THE ITEM/S. IF THE ITEM STILL DOES NOT SELL - THE ITEM WILL BE RETURNED TO THE CONSIGNOR. PLEASE NOTE THE CONSIGNOR WILL NEED TO COLLECT THE ITEM/S.
  • IF THE CONSIGNOR DOES NOT WISH TO HAVE THE ITEMS RETURNED TO THEM, THEY WILL BE DONATED TO A CHARITY STORE, OR BECOME THE PROPERTY OF SECONDED.

WHAT’S NOT FOR US

  • Items that are damaged (rips, discolouration, pulled threads, fading or pilling
  • Clothing without size tags
  • Items that have been altered or repaired
  • Clothing from Kmart/Big W/Shein etc. 
  • Swimwear and intimates without tags and protective liners

PAYMENTS

  • ALL PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE TO THE CONSIGNEE WITHIN 7 DAYS AFTER THE ITEM IS SOLD. THIS WILL BE VIA ELECTRONIC TRANSFER THROUGH PAYPAL.

  • A 30% COMMISSION FROM EACH ITEM SOLD WILL BE RETAINED BY SECONDED

PRICING AN ITEM

As the consignor you set the price for each you wish to be sold. If unsure, you can research only. Remember, an item is only worth the amount someone is willing to pay.
